i was pleasantly surprised by my stay, as i had visited halifax years ago but this hotel exceeded my expectations. the staff were incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home, and the breakfast options were a delightful surprise with freshly made dishes. my room was clean and bright, providing a cozy retreat.

I absolutely loved the massive bathroom and the delicious full English breakfast made just to my liking. The lovely Italian restaurant was a delightful surprise too! I'd definitely stay again!

It was a strong match for a brief retreat in Halifax with good value considering the price. The breakfast was very good, a nice surprise. Check out Hebden Bridge. it's worth a visit.

We found the hotel to be a perfect starting point for our weekend strolls, as we loved being just a short walk from the beautiful People's Park and the fascinating Halifax Minster, which we visited multiple times during our stay.

Ideal for loud partiers but not for light sleepers

Bed was comfortable I had four pillows was a little cramped but workable also the location had easy access to shops and restaurants

I had a good one-night stay. The staff made me feel welcomed and helped everything go smoothly. I found the location convenient for exploring the town. I parked easily at a nearby garage. My room was clean and comfortable, perfect for my needs. I really enjoyed my breakfast in the morning. I will return during my next visit to the area with my family.

Room swap was good, but noisy nights

We stayed for 2 nights and got a room near the lift, which was way too noisy. They were nice enough to switch us, but the new room was super hot since the window barely opened. The bins were emptied outside at 5 AM, waking us up for hours! The breakfast area was lovely though, with super friendly staff.

For those wanting to stay out late, expect some street noise as well. not ideal if you're looking for pristine quiet at night.

Had a great time with friends. We hit up the Halifax Ski & Snowboard Centre and Crow Nest Park Golf Club, both awesome. The location is perfect for exploring, and the service was friendly. Rooms are comfy and clean, making it a solid getaway option!

The only downside was the bed, it was extremely soft, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.

The ambiance felt dated, but the staff truly stood out with their friendliness. Enjoyed dinner at Julio's Italian Restaurant, serving delicious Italian cuisine. A comfortable bed provided solace despite the noisy street. Future guests should prepare for late-night disturbances. earplugs are a must!
